FRIDAY FUN!

You have to be old enough to appreciate this. If you don't understand this, you are too young!

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!

  1. Ok, that one is funny. I always wished she would leave him on the show. But that was unheard of back then!

  2. Guilty! I am definitely old enough to appreciate it. (Just don't got to Fibber McGee and Molly - The Honeymooners is far enough back.)

  6. I watched some show about Jackie Gleason last week. It showed some of the Honeymooners clips, but none with the "to the moon" threat.

It is still a funny bit.

And yes, I do remember Fibber McGee and Molly, The life of Riley, The Shadow, Amos and Andy, just to name a few.

    Thanks for the remembrance.

  8. I don't remember it and sometimes I feel as if I'm a senior citizen on the web--at least compared to most folks--I wonder. But growing up in the 60s and 70s, we watched very little TV. I remember the "honeymooners," but it was something my parents watched.

  9. I'm old, but not that old.

But I am wondering now about whether maybe Jimmy Hoffa was on one of those satellites they sent out into deep space in the 1970's.

At least your problem is looking young.

I'm 43, but the other day I had my first ever, 'You're not a senior citizen, are you?' question. That absolutely floored me.

I'm sure that question will become more and more common in the future.
