I'm in OMG land... where are you!?!

  1. In NJ we seem to get warmer and warmer, almost like the Carolinas! I love the snow but we don't get it like we used to as a kid. I'm right on the Delaware river and some think maybe the river stops the snow from getting to us!

Stay in and keep warm and cozy!

  2. Sue~ Even tho we're in a cold spell now, average temps are still much warmer than years back.

I remember as a kid, living up north in Houghton Lake, Michigan, ...actually the largest in-land lake in Michigan. It always was frozen over enough to drive on by first day of deer-hunting season, Nov. 15th. We have pics of us kids on the ice then.

A couple years ago, it wasn't even frozen over in January. Global warming is alive and well!

  3. We waited until the weather warmed up a bit. Just got back in from shoveling the last bit of heavy, wet snow from the driveway. It took about 10 minutes. There wasn't that much left.

I don't envy those of you who got more than the 1.5 inches we got.

  6. Jack~ Listen to your mother here... SHOULD YOU BE SHOVELING WHEN YOU DON'T FEEL GOOD?

  7. Today was more like a summer day. Hot, humid, and miserable. Yuck.

  9. Never mind that, how are we going to get rid of that enormous tapeworm crawling along the Mexican border and the east coast?!

Here on the west coast we're in a fortunate position -- pretty much always the most moderate weather in the country. We were supposed to get freezing rain over the weekend, but it never showed, thank goodness.

  10. Infidel~ Love the west coast. San Fran would be my fav if it weren't for the earthquake possibilities.

  11. Fresh air is good for you. Besides, it wasn't that much work.

I did see my doc today. He told me that PETA is upset with Tiger woods for being called Tiger. They believe it should be Lion or Cheetah. That's from my doc. He always has something funny to tell me.

He also gave me some anti-biotics.
