I support Helen completely on what she said...after all the years we've provided weapons, financial, and UN backing support to Israel and now with their brazen attacks on the aid vessels, it's fitting to describe their actions as... POWER CORRUPTS AND ABSOLUTE POWER CORRUPTS ABSOLUTELY!
President Obama told Israel they had to quit building settlements on the West Bank and the Netanyahu party told him he should mind his own business. I agree, we should mind our own business and stop giving aid to them!

I happen to agree too at the very least I would like to see a return to the boundaries established by UN resolution 181 but that will never happen. We are as guilty as Israel for not enforcing it and letting Israel encroach!
Karen I don't see him standing up. I would like to see him take control of BP, take their assets and put them in receivership. I see those scum getting away with this, They are still lying enough is enough.
Those were Helen's sentiments and frustration in the context of Israeli brutality. Isn't she Lebanese? How much horror on her people by Israel has she witnessed?
I agree with her sentiment, and understand it is not a "mandate" for Jews to leave.
Heck, there have been times I said I wish all the Eurpoean Americans would go back to Europe. That's the only way we will "get our country back".

Karen, I'm afraid I disagree. As much as I understand the anger behind that comment, telling Jews to leave Israel went too far.
I support a two-state solution for Palestine and belive both Jews and Muslims have a right to make their homes there in peace.

Power-mongers are rampant everywhere. You have mounted some very telling rants against them. They are the ones who need to be fettered in some manner.
The struggles of the Middle-East are ancient. However, that is no excuse to ignore them.
It will be interesting to see how it all works out. I'm afraid that will take many more years than this lifetime allows me.
Perhaps in a future life I will be able to do something.
Perhaps I will be one of those power-mongers.
