I'm going to soon need to replace my laptop--ain't too happy about it, but I got four years out of it. Glad you're stay villiant and keep the bad guys at bay.
Jack~ Guess I'm in the minority with a desktop rather than laptop. Hubby has a laptop which we use when we travel.
Got another Dell... a Dell Inspiron 530s. I've heard nothing but horror stories about Microsoft Vista and knew it was getting near the end of the line for XP so thought I'd better act soon if I wanted XP.
My old computer just couldn't handle the load. This one has 4GB memory and 500GB hard drive. It should be able to handle anything I throw at it!
I replaced the monitor a year ago with a flat screen since old monitor was a dinosaur, as well.

I may have to replace my aging mac laptop. it is getting so slow. Maybe I should just take it into the shop.
