Phil Wolf, owner of Wolf Automotive used car dealership, stands in front of a billboard on his auto lot on November 21, 2009 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Wolf paid $2,500 to have the billboard painted, and it has sparked controversy since it was put up the day before. Wolf, 57, said the dealership received more than a thousand calls from throughout the U.S. and Canada in a single day, both in support and against the sign. ‘We’ve had death threats. We had people call and say they were going to firebomb the place last night,’ he said, adding that local police provided overnight security outside the dealership because of the threats. Wolf, a supporter of the ‘birther’ movement, questions President Obama’s citizenship. ‘We’ve got to recall our country, the election,’ he said. This guy (Obama), is illegal.’ He also blamed the President for the massacre at Ft. Hood. ‘The cavalier attitude taken by Mr. Obama towards the enemy within us is absolutely horrible. If I had a snake in the house, I would kill it,’ Wolf said. Several left-leaning advocacy groups have called on the public to boycott the auto dealership.

To recall his brain he would have to have one in the first place. I wonder how he manages to get dressed in the morning, even putting on socks takes some skill. He looks like Sling Blade.

Karen,
Frustrating that the media refers to a birth certificate "controversy" when there's no controversy at all.Obama's the president and he's a citizen.End of story.

It's like referring to Donald Duck as a controversial character, with the public divided over whether a cartoon character is real.

Teabaggers are hopeless.I know,I work amongst them.I try to explain fiscal policy to them, they tell me I drink the koolaid cause what I say contradicts Glen Beck.

nice post.

The thing is, although his sign says "prove it", nothing ever could "prove it" to these people's satisfaction. It already is "proven" by any rational standard. If testimony of officials who've seen the long-form BC, birth announcements in Hawaiian newspapers, court rulings, the total lack of any evidence of Obama's mother having gone to Kenya at the time, etc., aren't enough, then nothing ever could be. If the long-form BC were made public, they'd say it was fake. If witnesses to Obama's birth came forward, they'd say they were bribed. This is being driven by self-delusion and shell-shock at conservatism losing power, not by evidence.
