Perhaps a way to strip his power away would be to ignore him. Oh, crap, that won't work. He has too many admirers who would keep commenting on him and his actions.
Freedom of speech is important. The listener just has to have the intelligence to determine if what is being projected isn't something coming from the North end of a Southbound horse.
