As defined by Mahatma Gandhi: In India when people meet and part they often say, Namaste' which means: "I honor the place within you where the entire Universe resides; I honor the place within you of love, of light, of truth, of peace; I honor the place within you, where, when you are in that place in you, and I am in that place in me, there is only one of us."

This had me ROTFLMAO!
"Billboard shows world leaders in menage a trois"...
VIENNA, Austria - Her Majesty would not have been amused.
Neither would President Bush or his French counterpart, Jacques Chirac, over a Vienna-wide art project depicting them naked and engaged in a sexual act with British Queen Elizabeth II.
The work of “euroPART,” an independent artists’ group, the scenes being displayed on electronic billboards across the Austrian capital were also embarrassing for the government just days before the country assumes the European Union’s rotating presidency Sunday.
Austrian media reported that the offending images were yanked Wednesday — just a day after they started flashing at motorists — on personal orders of Chancellor Wolfgang Schuessel. A woman answering the telephone at the chancellor’s public information department who refused to identify herself said she could not confirm the report.
Leading opposition party figures suggested Schuessel was at least indirectly responsible, saying the group had received about $1.2 million in government subsidies.
Schuessel spokeswoman Heidi Glueck was quoted by the Austria Press Agency as saying the chancellor had been “unaware” of the subject matter being displayed.

Remember this Danziger cartoon about Dean? There were only 500 plus deaths then. Now there are over 2000, maybe more. I thought of this cartoon when his own party tried to hush him about the war.
Also, my post about Dean and the grassroots is still going on at BooTribune. Click for it. I am finding out more and more ways the DCCC is butting in...don't like it. Rahm loves millionaires. Millionaires don't care much about my everyday needs, thus I am not sure why millionaires are so in demand by the DCCC.
Click.

Do you believe President Bush's actions justify impeachment? * 70871 responses
Yes, between the secret spying, the deceptions leading to war and more, there is plenty to justify putting him on trial. 87%
No, like any president, he has made a few missteps, but nothing approaching "high crimes and misdemeanors." 4%
No, the man has done absolutely nothing wrong. Impeachment would just be a political lynching. 8%

As you open your pockets for yet another natural disaster, keep these facts in mind:
Marsha J. Evans, President and CEO of the American Red Cross... salary for year ending 06/30/03 was $651,957 plus expenses.
Brian Gallagher, President of the United Way receives a $375,000 base salary, plus numerous expense benefits.
The Salvation Army's Commissioner, Todd Bassett, receives a salary of only $13,000 per year (plus housing) for managing this $2 billion dollar organization.
No further comment necessary.

German Chocolate Cookies
This was one of my Mother-in-law's favorite recipes. It's an old German family recipe that she passed on to me before she died in 1988. It's been a long time since I made this recipe but I do recall that it makes dozens of cookies and the cookies are absolutely delicious!
4 C flour
6 t baking powder
1 t salt
1 t soda
3 C sugar
2 eggs
1 C shortening
1 C commercial sour cream (1/2 pt.)
6 ozs. Baker's bitter chocolate
1 C chopped nuts
Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, soda & combine with sugar, eggs, shortening, & sour cream. Combine chocolate & nuts with above ingredients.
Bake at 350 degrees about 12 minutes
ENJOY!

Another thing I'm pissed off about today is this!
Nasdaq on March 10, 2000, closed at 5048 under President Clinton. Nasdaq yesterday closed at 2260 under President Bush.
As far as tax cuts go, Bush has robbed from our country and as of today now enjoys a $8,119,496,424,139.25 (that is trillions folks!) budget deficit. What a Board of Directors we have. Just think if every business in the United States operated this way!

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention
has issued a warning about a new virulent strain
of Sexually Transmitted Disease. The disease is contracted through dangerous and high-risk behavior.
The disease is called Gonorrhea Lectim and pronounced "gonna re-elect him."
Many victims contracted it in 2004, after having been screwed for the past four years. Cognitive characteristics of individuals infected include: anti-social personality disorders, delusions of grandeur with messianic overtones, extreme cognitive dissonance, inability to incorporate new information, pronounced xenophobia and paranoia, inability to accept responsibility for own actions, cowardice masked by misplaced bravado, uncontrolled facial smirking, ignorance of geography and history, tendencies towards evangelical theocracy, categorical all-or nothing behavior.
Naturalists and epidemiologists are amazed at how this destructive disease originated only a few years ago from a bush found in Texas.

Great for a busy Holiday morning.
ZIPLOC OMELETS!
Have you ever heard of this? (This works great! Good for when all your family is together and
no one has to wait for their special omelet).
Have guests write their name on a quart-size ziploc freezer bag with permanent marker. Crack 2 eggs (large or extra-large) into the bag (not more than 2) shake to combine them .
Put out a variety of ingredients such as: cheeses, ham, onion, green pepper, tomato, hash browns, salsa, etc. Each guest adds prepared ingredients of choice to their bag and shake. Make sure to get the air out of the bag and zip it up.
Place the bags into rolling, boiling water for exactly 13 minutes. You can usually cook 6-8 omelets in a large pot. For more, make another pot of boiling water. Open the bags and the omelet will roll out easily. Be prepared for everyone to be amazed.
Nice to serve with fresh fruit and coffee cake; everyone gets involved in the process and a great conversation piece.

Things to ponder on Monday morning...
Why, Why, Why
Why do we press harder on a remote control
when we know the batteries are getting weak?
Why do banks charge a fee on "insufficient funds"
when they know there is not enough?
Why does someone believe you when you say
there are four billion stars, but check when you
say the paint is wet?
Why doesn't glue stick to the bottle?
Why do they use sterilized needles for death by lethal injection?
Why doesn't Tarzan have a beard?
Why does Superman stop bullets with his chest,
but ducks when you throw a revolver at him?
Why do Kamikaze pilots wear helmets?
Whose idea was it to put an "S" in the word "lisp"?
If people evolved from apes, why are there still apes?
Why is it that no matter what color bubble bath you use
the bubbles are always white?
Is there ever a day that mattresses are not on sale?
Why do people constantly return to the refrigerator
with hopes that something new to eat will have materialized?
Why do people keep running over a string a dozen
times with their vacuum cleaner, then reach down,
pick it up, examine it, then put it down to give the
vacuum one more chance?
Why is it that no plastic bag will open from the end on your first try?
How do those dead bugs get into those enclosed light fixtures?
When we are in the supermarket and someone rams our
ankle with a shopping cart then apologizes for doing so,
why do we say, "It's all right?" Well, it isn't all right, so
why don't we say, "That hurt, you stupid idiot?"
Why is it that whenever you attempt to catch
something that's falling off the table you always
manage to knock something else over?
In winter why do we try to keep the house as warm
as it was in summer when we complained about the heat?
How come you never hear father-in-law jokes?
And my FAVORITE......
The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four
persons is suffering from some sort of mental illness.
Think of your three best friends -- if they're okay, then it's you.
