And Bushlandia...

Bush is bad, but I still say Carter is the WORST. I can't believe you think he's the best in our lifetimes. Is that Party politics clouding your judgement?

Remember Operation Eagle Claw??? Oh my Lord, what a disaster. I applaud his willingness to go in and rescue our men from Iranian terrorists, but this was just poor. Have you ever met any of the men kept for 444 days in Iran? I have, and he hates Carter to this day.

Carter also reinstated The Draft.

And who helped train dudes like Osama in Afghanistan? Carter's administration is responsible for the Middle East politics and behind the back assistance that has lead to the hatred they have for Americans. You gotta start at the origin.

The Misery Index (the offical one) currently is at 7.07%. It's gone as high as near 8% under Bush. Carter's Misery Index? 16.27%

Bush is terrible...but Carter is MORESO.

The Phoenix... Carter reinstated the draft? You must have a creative mind that is divorced from reality.

Karen, keep it coming!

Sage - it's the far left and far right that have their heads up their asses. Here's the reality - in 1980, Carter reinstated the draft registration program for ALL men between 18-25. He did it as a response to the Soviet invasion in Afghanastan. That's just a fact. As far as documentation - the misery index is well documented, and it's an impartial, mathmatical formula. The number is staring you right in the face. Unemployment + inflation = misery index. It's a very simple and general gauge of how we are doing here at home.

I think any person that believes Carter is the best president is completely out of touch with reality. Clinton was FAR more effective.
