“So Sambo beat the bitch!”

This is how Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin described Barack Obama’s win over Hillary Clinton to political colleagues in a restaurant a few days after Obama locked up the Democratic Party presidential nomination.

Racial and ethnic slurs may be “just Alaska” and, clearly, they are common, everyday chatter for Palin.

Besides insulting Obama with a Step-N’-Fetch-It, “darkie musical” swipe, people who know her say she refers regularly to Alaska’s Aboriginal people as “Arctic Arabs”...

That really is horrific! It should tell you what we are in for! This Fascist agenda will not stop with Bush! Cheney and Palin are already chosen to further it! It gets worse if Republicans think they cannot steal another,
This is like watching the Nazi's and their rabid control and agenda.Sadly what is horrific to most of us the right endears. They love her and what she extols. We are in a hell of a loot more trouble than most realize and they do not even care. Thanks for that. Unfriggenbelievable!

I have been tied up helping TC so I have been missing things of late! I just went to Helenwheels and she had this too. I guess it is getting around. I only hope MSM gets a hold of it and spreads it around because if they steal them in we are screwed!

Alaskans Speak (In A Frightened Whisper): Palin Is “Racist, Sexist, Vindictive, And Mean”

Well, she sounds like the typical church going, bible reading christian to me.

Oh to heck with all that, it's just a bunch of monkeys messing around filling history up with more monkey crap.

And if Obama makes it into office it will still be monkey crap, just a little browner is all.

Hey, I'm still waiting for your redheaded sister to show up, ha, ha, ha. I sort of like those redheaded monkeys. :-)

I googled the statement and this is the first of 10,400 hits.

I reckon it will take a bit longer for some Alaskans to come kicking and screaming into this century.

Racism, bigotry and prejudice have not been overcome yet. This means we have a lot more work to do.

Here is MSNBC's report, too.

To think she would only be a heartbeat away from the seat that would surely become a throne should they get elected.

The source material is a bit unbelievable concerning her comments on "aboriginals" when her husband is part Eskimo.

An Alaskan Dem, who claims to be no fan of Palin, refuted the original post quite well. I'd suggest reading it.

Having read the LA Progressive article this blog post quotes, I would think that skepticism would be the first reaction of any sane person. Given the responses I've read here and on that site and the people more than willing to swallow any unsubstantiated tidbit that fits their world view, rationality doesn't seem to be a major concern to many.

She doesn't deserve the title.
