As defined by Mahatma Gandhi:
In India when people meet and part they often say, Namaste' which means: "I honor the place within you where the entire Universe resides; I honor the place within you of love, of light, of truth, of peace; I honor the place within you, where, when you are in that place in you, and I am in that place in me, there is only one of us."
And may there be many more! :) Heh. I don't make resolutions, but I'm ditto-ing Rhea. That's been on my to-do list for a while, and the downtown Y has classes...
One time my wife had gone to bed earlier on New Year's eve. At midnight, I decided to see if she was awake and tell her it had come. So I went into the bedroom and planned to tell her quietly 'happy new year.' Only I tripped over the words and said, 'Happy you near.' She was half asleep and said, "Happy you here too.'
