As defined by Mahatma Gandhi:
In India when people meet and part they often say, Namaste' which means: "I honor the place within you where the entire Universe resides; I honor the place within you of love, of light, of truth, of peace; I honor the place within you, where, when you are in that place in you, and I am in that place in me, there is only one of us."
because I am who I am, and even tho he was a dictator of the worst kind, I actually felt pity for the man when he was caught in his rat hole. He was reduced to a meer mortal.
Common sense told some of us that WMD's were nonexistent, and Saddam had not a hell of a lot to do with 9/11. Unfortunately, common sense did not reign supreme during that time. I like to think of it as the years when at least half of the country lost it's f-ing mind.
Saddam was no rose, in fact, he was a genocidal bastard, but at least he was the enemy known.

BUT, THERE WAS OIL!
and the unfinished business of avenging daddy!
Sue~ Think he always was mortal, it was the bushies who would have us believe different.
The sheep didn't mind One Fly, they still don't mind, unless they have a dead son.
Holte~ But, they're willing to sacrifice a daughter/son cuz bush said it was right.
Apropos on this day of Peace Prize acceptance, methinks.
jadedj~ Good analogy.
