THE WINNERS!

Will be interesting to see if these two end up representing their parties in November. Personally, I think Barack will hold on but not Huckabee. We'll see. It's just so exciting to know that in one year the worst. president. ever. will be history!!

Ok Karen, tell me what to do, we have a primary coming up here in Michigan in less than two weeks and half the Democrats aren't even on the ballot and we're not sure our commissioners will be seated at the convention. I'm hoping Edwards runs second in Iowa, but then I gotta support another Tar Heel (even though he was born in the lesser of the Carolinas, he family did see the light and he moved a state north as a young boy).

sage, vote uncommitted...

..."A vote for "uncommited" is a vote to send delegates to the Democratic National Convention who are not committed or pledged to any candidate. Those delegates can vote for any candidate they choose at the Convention."

Thanks Karen, that's a good site and I'm glad to have some answers.

I'm still not too happy about our upcoming primary and mad that the only thing those idiots in Lansing can agree on is holding an early primary that upsets both political parties and, if either party has a close race at the time of the convention, will probably result in a court battle over the seating of Michigan delegates. It seems that we'll be ignored by two of the top contenders on the Democratic side--certainly not a good thing. Furthermore, the selection of the "uncommitted delegates" will also raise lots of questions.

The race begins to heat up a bit more.

I was elated to learn that Barak did so well. I believe he is the best for the job. I just hope others will see that in him too.

W needs a good, long rest. lol

sage~ yes, you are probably correct on all accounts. Hubby thinks our delegates will be seated because, if not, it would raise such a brouhaha that it wouldn't be good for the Dem party. I'm also furious with Michigan politics and disappointed in Jen but her hands are tied just like Pelosi and Reid.

Never a dull moment, eh!?!

jack~ a good long rest, indeed. Hell isn't good enough for him!

bbc~ glad somebody's honest around here...

*grin*

An entire year, tho. Sigh.
But it's hope in the future!

If one of the GOP's wins the presidency, the worst could be yet to come
