As defined by Mahatma Gandhi:
In India when people meet and part they often say, Namaste' which means: "I honor the place within you where the entire Universe resides; I honor the place within you of love, of light, of truth, of peace; I honor the place within you, where, when you are in that place in you, and I am in that place in me, there is only one of us."

FRIDAY FUN! You have to be old enough to appreciate this. If you don't understand this, you are too young!
I don't remember it and sometimes I feel as if I'm a senior citizen on the web--at least compared to most folks--I wonder. But growing up in the 60s and 70s, we watched very little TV. I remember the "honeymooners," but it was something my parents watched.

Ok, that one is funny. I always wished she would leave him on the show. But that was unheard of back then!
Guilty! I am definitely old enough to appreciate it. (Just don't got to Fibber McGee and Molly - The Honeymooners is far enough back.)
i laughed out LOUD! what's that say about me? (don't answer that...) sigh : D
*sob* I don't get it, but seriously I'm not that young so I must have just missed it. I'm sure it's very funny. :) Have a great weekend!!
I'm old enough to laugh out loud at this one!
I have a new site. Its at http://miscellania.squarespace.com/
I watched some show about Jackie Gleason last week. It showed some of the Honeymooners clips, but none with the "to the moon" threat.
It is still a funny bit.
And yes, I do remember Fibber McGee and Molly, The life of Riley, The Shadow, Amos and Andy, just to name a few.
Thanks for the remembrance.
I'm old enough to remember this - and it is very funny! Michele sent me.

I'm old, but not that old.
But I am wondering now about whether maybe Jimmy Hoffa was on one of those satellites they sent out into deep space in the 1970's.

At least your problem is looking young.
I'm 43, but the other day I had my first ever, 'You're not a senior citizen, are you?' question. That absolutely floored me.
I'm sure that question will become more and more common in the future.
