well,they're hot. The NBA finals have begun--but they last so long... In another blog, I mentioned the comic strip Kudzu (which isn't in this part of the state). It's mostly down south, and by Doug Marlette. One of my favorite strips who appeared a while ago has a preacher (the Rev. Will B. Dunn--a Quaker Oats man looking guy) answering questions. One question is: "What will eternity be like?" Dunn answers: "Like the NBA finals, only shorter."

I'm still holding out to become a Tiger fan as the Pirates are terrible again.

Hey Karen...must feel good to have a winner! My Shaq-less Lakers are still a shell of their former selves...better with Phil back but not ready for prime time. Kobe picked a bad time to be invisible against the Suns yesterday...at least my Dodgers won.
